York City Police said that Becker had been heavily drinking vodka inside the apartment in the 500 block of Linden
Avenue where he was staying with Liliana’s non-biological grandmother and his mother, Carolyn Becker. An autopsy, which was performed the day after Liliana’s death, revealed the infant had ingested alcohol and had suffered numerous abrasions and contusions to her head and neck, documents state.County Coroner Pam Gay said that the presence of alcohol in Liliana’s system was not the primary cause of death and that the cuts also were not enough to cause her death. There was also no report of sexual abuse, she added.
Becker also is charged with involuntary manslaughter, endangering the welfare of a child and tampering with evidence.
